Fish your confidence baits!
I wish I could tell you more but there seems to be a lot of ways to catch em right now – even though it hasn’t been easy! I’ve spent a lot of time on the water the last few days and started catching some fish yesterday on a spinnerbait and a fluke shallow, but most were on the smaller side. I’ve also heard that there is a good topwater bite going on, and it wouldnt suprise me as the water temp has been 65-70 degrees depending where you are at. I ended yesterday with a nice 4lber on a jig off of a deeper bluff bank and it excited me for today. That one fish encouraged me to quit trying to figure it all out and just go fishing with my confidence bait (a 10″ worm). I picked a section of the lake that offers a good variety of water depth and types of structure hoping to focus on having fun and enjoying the day (85 degrees in November aint bad folks!). As it turned out, I caught numerous fish from 2-4 lbs in 2-10 feet of water and had a great time doing it. Some where on shallow docks, some where on steeper banks, and some where off shore. I have no doubt there are multiple things that are working right now so pick up your favorite confidence bait and just go fishing! Good Luck!
